Fracture of adhesive joints: from the perspective of test conditions

Prof Yu Sekiguchi
(Institute of Science Tokyo, Japan)

Dr. Yu Sekiguchi received his PhD from the Tokyo Institute of Technology (Ookayama Campus, Tokyo) in 2013. He subsequently joined the Suzukakedai Campus in Yokohama as an Assistant Professor and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2024. Following the merger of the Tokyo Institute of Technology and Tokyo Medical and Dental University in October 2024, he is now affiliated with the Institute of Science Tokyo, where he is a member of the Laboratory for Future Interdisciplinary Research of Science and Technology (FIRST). His research focuses on the mechanical performance of adhesive joints, with particular emphasis on fracture behavior.
